Yellowstone | John Dutton Opens Up About Losing a Baby Brother

During the funeral of his newborn grandson, John (Kevin Costner) consoles Monica (Kelsey Asbille) by recounting his childhood experience of losing a baby brother. He assures her that her son’s brief yet tender life was filled with nothing but the love of his mother. (Season 5 Episode 4).

There are a lot of time where I see my father in John Dutton. Though he could be tough on me and my brothers, he is nothing short of a stalwart, wonderful man. But he could be the most compassionate and caring person in the world. I love him. He's the best man I could ever hope to know. John Dutton is the man my father is, and I love him for it.
