Just bought a new Mazda CX-5 S Select 2.5 in Deep Crystal Blue Mica! With the Forester being sold, it was time to find a new car and I did like Mazda as a brand so the CX-5 Select was the perfect choice! I love the Deep Crystal Blue color and also in this video I will provide my reasoning why I am alright with the Select despite it being a base model CX-5. The Deep Crystal Blue Mica color is beautiful and I am happy to start making videos on the CX-5 2.5 Select I have!

Next Gen CX-5 should arrive next summer/fall (2026 model) . Happy to wait as well as get hybrid option that will be offered.

I haven’t test drove the CX-5 yet but it looks like the arm rests in the middle are very short and barely extend. Are they usable?

Does your CX-5 have Cylinder Deactivation? Also, if It does not, could you verify if your engine code (8th digit/letter) in the VIN is an L?
