I understand the mindset with the change to Terry’s last fight but, Ken kinda needs to be there.

Ken was treated as Terry’s Capcom rival in the Capcom Vs. SNK series, and that last Classic Mode fight in itself is a callback to Capcom Vs. SNK because the whole point of this route is playing off of KOF’s team mechanic which carried over into the CVS series and you can even play a team of Ryu, Ken and Terry in CVS2 if you wanted to.

I still feel like Palutena needs a boss change to Ganon. I mean he's literally called the Demon King. It just fits.

An interesting one for Luigi would be “Eternal Understudies”, where he fights characters who are sidekicks, partners, and allies to other characters. These would include Diddy Kong, Ken, Robin, Inkling (as Agent 3), Young Link, and a fight against Crazy Hand.

For part 2, you should change the Rob classic mode to “A Journey Through Subspace, ” which is a reference to Brawl and the Subspace Emissary first is a battle Mario, Pit, Twilight Princess Link, Yoshi, and Kirby, then Meta Knight, Marth, Ike, Lucario, and Snake, then Bowser, Ganondorf, and Wario, then Pokémon Trainer, Lucas, Ice Climbers, and a Scoped Rob, then King Dedede, Luigi, and Ness, then Toon Link, Jigglypuff, and Wolf, with boss staying as Galleom.

Byleths shouldve been teacher related or something. The whole FE series classic mode thing has already been done, so do something unique to Byleth
Whether it be mercenaries (Ike, Samus, Snake)
Fighting student characters (Joker, school outfit Inkling)
Or links to time and divine pulse (Young link, Bayonetta)

If you still wanted to keep the N64 theme with OoT you could swap out Ganondorf with Shiek and use him and his Ganon form for the end.

Imagine a Custom Classic Mode for Miis, to where you choose the Miis you play as, choose the Name, Stages, Conditions, Items, and Final Boss. A bit of a bias, but every Mii you make can have a unique route.

there are two boss fights I feel should be changed:
-Lucas should end with a fight against Marx as his classic theme is about fighting characters with psychic or magic powers

-Sonic should end with a fight against Galleom for obvious reasons

Pac-man’s new classic mode route “Namco Museum” or “Arcade Classes”
Each round represents a different namco arcade game
Round 1 is based on pac-man with Roy, Larry, Wendy, and Iggy representing the ghost and the stage is pac-land in battlefield form
Round 2 is Galaga which is set in Lylat Cruise in omega form. The battle will be a horde battle against meta-knight or ridley who represent the bugs and your partner in the battle is samus or ROB who represent the galaga ship
Round 3 Dig-Dug, your opponents will be 2x charizards and 2x kirby who represents fygar and pooka with ritcher who represents Dig-dug, as your partner, and the stage is set in great cave offensive
Round 4 Mappy, set in Luigi’s mansion, your partner is pikachu representing mappy and your opponents are 3x incineroars who represent the cats
Round 5 Rally X set in figure-8 circuit your opponent is Wario who present the red cars
Round 6 sky kid which will be set on pilot wing and opponent will be falco
The final round could either be a battle against Kazuya which would represent Tekken or a battle against Ganon with a mii fighter Gil outfit as your partner representing the Tower of Druaga

In terms of Shulk, surely there’s some way they could’ve had the fight be on Gaur Planes and have the battle end once he defeats Metal Face. Why not have the Miis fight Dark Emperor on Find Mii? The stage bosses, though few, really should’ve been utilised.

I think it would make more sense for Cloud’s classic mode boss to be Sephiroth’s 7th alt since that one is truly the final boss of Final Fantasy 7

When creating Classic Modes, they dont use any DLC other than the DLC that was introduced, a main reason being not everyone buys a Fighter Pass, so they only use the DLC character, stage, and music, so when making these routes its best to keep them in mind.

Honestly I do feel like Mario's route is a little too specific to RPG. Considering how many Mario games there are, it's so weird that he doesn't fight other characters from his games. I'd at least replace the ''brewster'' fight with one referencing SML2, with Mario and Wario duking it out on a castle stage. That and maybe have Luigi appear as an ally for a few of the stages too.

I've always felt R.O.B's was underwhelming. Having unreadable expressions sort of fits, but R.O.B is the Robotic Operating Buddt. Why did they not either have them fight other robots _or_ have them fight the 'buddy' characters of the series? Bonus points if there is some way to make them robotic / metallic.

Even better yet would be a reference to Subspace, with the huge army of R.O.B's. Why not have them fight all the characters they encountered in chronological order, then at the end of the run R.O.B realises what theyve been doing was wrong and they fight against the people who were controlling them.

It would be such a cool little nod to Subspace and R.O.B pivotal role in the story.
