So while Europa is only one-fourth the diameter of Earth, its ocean may contain twice as much water as all of Earth's oceans combined. Europa's vast and unfathomably deep ocean is widely considered the most promising place to look for life beyond Earth.Abundant liquid water, energy, and the right chemical elements make Europa one of the best places in the solar system to seek present-day life beyond Earth.

Anything Brian Cox says is about the coolest thing I've ever heard. His stuff on BBC is my favorite.

Some people have a favourite planet, for me it's a favourite moon, Europa! Will be so awesome if they ever discover any kind of life there, will show life can exist outside of the habitable zone.

Well what I am frustrated about is that we can get Crystal Clear beautiful images from however many billions of miles away but yet I can't get damn good cell phone coverage where I live it makes no sense and how in the world are these satellites manoeuvring themselves

I could listen to him for hours. Id struggle to stay awake because the mono-tone sound of his voice is relaxing, but id really want to stay awake and listen

When did he clam that "NASA may have found life on this moon of Jupiter"??? He said that based on conditions of the moon, Europa MAY well be a home for life.

I have dirt in my back yard. Gold is found in and under dirt. That doesn't mean I've found gold in my back yard.

Just think about it. One day that little probe can be the last remnants of humanity, really less than a speck in the cosmos.

There is life under the ice here on earth...
Why wouldn't there be life under the ice on Europa?
