We're all feeling pretty comfortable on good old Earth, but will it be able to serve us forever? Think of the star in our Solar System as a battery. Billions of years from now, its energy will be gone. Without its light and warmth, life on Earth can't exist. When you think about it this way, we have to hope that future humans will have found some other place to live by then. Thankfully, scientists at NASA have announced that they found a new planet that might be able to support life.

When I was a kid I wanted to be an astronaut. I knew then about much of the dangers of traveling into space yet I wasn't fazed. Now I just want to find a quiet place to spend put the rest of my days. Where did that courage go?

TOI 700 e is an Earth-size world that orbits within the habitable zone of its star – the range of distances where liquid water could occur on a planet’s surface. The world is 95% Earth’s size and likely rocky. It is about 10% smaller than planet d. Although it is the fourth planet to be discovered in the TOI 700 system, it is between planets c and d 12. Is there anything else you would like to know about TOI 700 e?

It doesn’t matter how many planets we find that may be habitable tho it’s still cool and I love things like that but sadness me I will die before the technology is ready to visit them or even live on them

*_Finding About A Planet That Will Hold Life Is Exciting But What’s Not Exciting Is That There’s An Extremely Low Chance They’ll Ever Visit Earth In Our Lifetime And We’ll Never Visit Them Because It Would Likely Take Lifetimes To Get There With Our Current Technology. Even If We Invent A Spaceship That Can Get There Super Fast, It Would Still Cost A Ton Of Money To Get A Trip There, So Don’t Get Your Hopes Up._*
