Great to get some opinion and advice at a high level rather than the usual ‘here’s the interface’ type videos . Subscribed 😊

Multiplayer isn't ONLY about editing together at the same exact time, it also cuts out "hey send me that file" with instant sharing. That's takes the place of box, dropbox, wetransfer, etc. I think that's huge value right there.

Wow.. this is one of the best industry/company reviews I have ever seen. So extremely insightful and informative. There's so much stuff going on here but he goes thru it all, in a very concise manner. I subscribed, had never seen this creator before. Amazing

Well, that is why this should be forbidden, most of the big company software's are far outdated, heavy, full of obsolete code, they deny changing or rebuilt the software in a new and fresh code. Instead develop an upgraded software or rebuilt it with modern code, they buy it, they incorporated in the existent software and keep the same crap code that goes back from the 90s. Yeah that is why Adobe, Autodesk software's have huge problems to be agile, light, efficient.

some good perspectives well highlighted. i'm always cautious with adobe though. precisely because they were responsible for tanking flash. i pivoted fine eventually. i started with js in the 90's, and went back to it from actionscript. but they've got too much of a reputation and history of buying what's popular and ruining it. also, it doesn't matter how many technical geniuses you have working for/with you if management is poor.

should I expect to pay for figma soon? They said they don’t plan on it, but I know how it sometimes goes with Adobe. Now I don’t believe they need to or should monetize it. They can just focus on improvements. And maybe make some of these improvements based on their own software that feed into figma. Also stay away from locking away features that already or should exist on figma. That might keep everyone happy if they’re tempted by dollar signs at Adobe.

Why are we comparing Figma to Photoshop from the off? It's nothing in that space. It's a direct Sketch/XD competitor. Adobe want to finish off Sketch, and preserve XD. Simple as that.

Awesomeness!!! Love every minutes of it ! Wonderfull memory came back to me when you mentioned flash ;))) somehow reminds me of the wonderfull designer g-monk and his crasy website creations . Ha lalalaa !!! Time is flying ;))). If I may allow my self a little insight about the transitioning thing from c4d to blender ;))) not only young unemployed artist are choosing it over c4d ;))) because it’s free. Also freelance with client-works that feels completely left over by maxon and it’s poor reveal of new addition in the apps . Since 2017-2018 ish… every release has been so week in additions . I just turn my back away from it and embrace an amazing high energy creative blender community that surprise me every day ! Working/ Learning has never been so good and fun !!! (Since the discovery of the first video tutorial by the awesome greyscale gorilla back in the days ;) hahahaa !!! Another monkey business:))). Anyhow !!! Change is good ;) should I mention A.I ;) hahaha 😂? No not yet…. I will look for that subject on your Chanel ! Amazing sharing vibes !!! Super inspirational and entertaining! Bravo !!!

The Great Reset: "You will own nothing and be happy for it." - I understand the technical innovation of what's in Figma but there's so many elements of where we're going that I just don't like. I actually want to own my software among a few other things :/

I'm upset there still isn't python integration in Adobe's apps.

This will feed the "You will own nothing and like it." movement.

Another one bites the mudbrick. Hard to expect Figma getting any better now. Not Adobe's kind of way.
This is what they do with your 60+ $/month instead of making a new Photoshop. Instead of fanboying that Adobe CEO, you might want to talk about how they use our money for their interests - which is NOT making good software for creatives anymore! They just try soooo hard to stay relevant because I don't see them having any inhouse innovation - they bought it off every since! Even Photoshop wasn't their IP!

As long as the corporation continues to devise more efficient means to funnel money from the many to the few then everything's gonna be ok. Don’t worry. Carry on about your business.

Hmm. Buying a company that-at its heart is fueled by advertising—as we enter one of the worst recession on record. We might all want to ask ourselves what the world will look like if Adobe goes bust.

I agree with a lot of the commernaty however, Flash though amazing, for it's time ran its course despite Adobe's best efforts to keep it alive. Of course it didn't help that Apple and Steve Jobs said they were not going to support it. Flash dies a few years later as the world went to mobile and light weight applications.

I'm using Figma a lot and I love everything about it except the UI.
It's very unintuitive and I have a hard time naturally finding a way to do something without using a tutorial.

Figma is great, but, personally I'm not happy with Adobe buying Figma. Over the years I've seen them engulf so many companies and then watched the software die - in preference to adding features onto their own software. Anyway - you created a great video here.
