Beating Ratio 25! | NEW Overclock Mode Beta Guide and Review | NIKKE

The Overclock mode for the Simulation Room is here in beta, and today, I'm going to give you a brief overview and my general strategy used to conquer it. It's an interesting new mode to test your skills for extra rewards, and in NIKKE, you can never get enough of those. Near the end of the video, I'll also include the team and configurations I used to beat core ratio 25, which is the highest difficulty that allowed for maximum rewards.

i beat ratio 25 with a liter, bunnies, snow white and modernia comp, just like regular campaign snow white is particularly good when playing at a big deficit cause she can kill the stage boss without you needing to bother with the last wave of units, im also a bit underleveld for the mode with only synchro 270 but i managed to make up the difference by farming legacy buffs in regular sim room, i really enjoyed the mode, aside from obviously wanting more rewards i also want more of a reason to try to push past ratio 25 even if at minimal returns

They say CP deficit doesn’t apply in simulation, but I gotta tell ya, my rectum sure feels like there was a CP deficit after doing a run consisting of buffs — that I thought — were basically benign and only serve to drag out the battle.

Can’t get beyond 12. I’m synchro lvl 207.

As a middle game player (21-31 campaign) i have some additional thoughts on this one. Once in few ratio points (i believe it's 4 but didn't test it all the way) enemies change. For example, on ratio 11 i destroyed last boss in one burst cycle, and it's lasers required two hits to kill one uncovered nikke. On ratio 12 i lasted for 3 burst cycles, boss had ~40-45% left (at best) and boss was able to one shot any nikke in my team through the cover. All the difference is that i had additional 5% hp on boss and that i had all 8 simulation buffs of the same type on ratio 12 and only 3+3 on ratio 11. So yeah, i had like 13k stats boost going for r12 boss and got significantly worse

Also, bosses in previous chambers were different. On ratio 11 it's a simple spider elite, on ratio 12 it's a cylinder that prevents me from using burst at all, so it's not just a stat buff, it's an enemy change.

To repeat, enemies completely change after certain ratio, preventing you from going too far if you have not enough firepower. I bet your limit is stage 8 if you was barely able to unlock overclock and maybe stage 19 if you just completed the campaign.

I disagree about Vet players only caring about this mode. Newer players (like me) will try this solely to get more skill/burst manuals due to extreme high demand/scarcity.

I’m slightly over 2months in, team is lvl 185 atm (JK’s/Doro/RH/Bscarlet. Got Bunnies as an option, Literless), put together a really good lvl5 legacy buff lineup. Best I have done so far is 10 in this mode (hopefully can get to 15 before its over).

on the burst skill 1 40 sec cap, i used redhood and her universal skill for the first activation was negated, it treated her like she had a regular skill so i couldnt go full burst with her alone like she was first showcased; and i agree that those cooldown burst caps are brutal

Since heavy metal has multiple parts, there is a way that if you use redhood, you can comp it with Liter, jks, and Alice, the piercing effect of redhoods ult can melt heavy metal in seconds.(im currently level 270 and finish the boss level within 20 seconds) But beforehand I had to go through 5C multiple times to save myself some effective buffs before chanllenging the overclock.

I got ratio level 21 while being 196k AP(around 250k AP after sim was a headache but I really needed those mats for Scarlet xD

Finished core ratio 25 at synchro 261. Totally doable with legacy buffs

I started passing 5-C about 2 weeks ago (started by the end of november or so and stuck at the 160 wall with just one MLB Nikke right now) 2 weeks ago and this new mode was almost like a godsend as I'm lacking in manuals now that I got Modernia on high skill levels and trying to get Edgy Scarlet to dish out more damage here, but I've been able to clear a an R4 and think I'll try going full def debuff and see what happens
I'm running Liter, bunny twins, Edgy Scarlet and Maxwell (maybe I could switch her with Modernia, but the nike she shoot on burst is just massive and her being lv172...)

I finished Ratio 25 at Synchro Lvl 309. Pepper/Dolla/Red Hood/Alice-Scarlet/Modernia on rotation.

One thing to note is that pretty much everyone should be able to clear Ratio 25 with a full suite of level 5 SSR buff chains if they can clear 5-C without really needing buffs. No one show feel the need to complete Overclock asap and you can take the full two week period to build up the buff chains needed to clear.

Ratio 12.
Running with Liter, Blanc, Scarlet, RH, Noir for earlier mobs. Changed RH to Modernia when doing the final Boss. 129k ish with legacy buff mostly for attack and gain health when doing damage. Cant beat more than ratio 12.

Beat ratio 25 relatively easily with School Girls, Dorothy, Redhood, OG scarlet. I believe I was synchro 305 at the time.
