I love typing on my Macbook Pro and my iPad. The iPad is a bit challenging but it's really cool with the virtual keyboard and with the right stand you can make it more fun.

When I first started typing, I was around 5. I remembered impressing my first grade teacher being able to type faster than her :) And then in 8th grade, I was rocking 88wpm, and now Dvorak 120+ wpm :)

It's great that computers was a required class in 6th grade (I'm in 11th now). Without it, I would never be able to type as fast as I do now.

@Flatzout You don't exactly need the best one. Even the cheap ones teach the same thing. There are no special tricks to type. Its all about practice.

Taught myself, new keyboard and slightly different layout=64 wpm... I realized that correcting mistakes takes a very long time.

I use four fingers (Middle and pointer on both hands) and I type 84 wpm self taught...

Deborac is good for typing with one hand I found, Querty is easier and faster though
