Ngl, but yesterday I was so hyped about wanting to do an ollie, and I accidentally did a kickflip . I know no one will believe this because it's a underrated story

Timing tip: jump as you pop by flicking your ankle downward as you jump. wait til you hear the pop to slide you foot up on the board.
Rolling tip: don't balance on your back foot. Balance on your front and kinda kick the board behind you. Idk if that made sense. Also you gotta full send. You cant be scared in skateboarding. Its ok. You won't get hurt or fall.

I used to skateboard and stop because I got injured to much but you’re starting to make me want to skate again.

Man I remember taking like a year just to learn how to ollie up a curb😂 now I got 5 stairs down, and hella tricks. Skating to school also really helped me get more comfortable on the board.

One thing you can do to get comfortable doing an ollie is put socks over the wheels so the board won’t roll away while doing it. Once you get the hang of it take the socks off and do it without them. From there you can learn it while rolling

Mine are still shit. Trying to force my back leg to go higher is like trying to force a twitter user to admit they are wrong

Keep going I been skating years but been in the carvers and long boards. I haven’t skated streets since like high school. I’m on week 3 and still no avail but everyday I come out I know I’m closer. Y’all should take videos cause trust me in a few more months you’ll be even better. If you really love and enjoy something you’ll never stop

Why does this short tutorial seem so much better than all the 10 minutes videos there are. Great video man!

If you feel bad about not being able to ollie super high, just remember that Jaws can't ollie very high either

The #1 step to do this is bravery (or how I learn in a day yes very unbelievable is to hold onto something)
