Very thorough evaluation. That alone earned my subscription. I wanted the get some at3's, but I went with the RT for my application( both diesel superduty trucks), as I've gotten 50k miles out of my last set of 35's and zero traction issues, even in 3ft deep snow. Was filling my radiatior grill with snow and overheating. I woild say snow traction in fresh snow is pretty outstanding from my testing. Pretty quiet on the road with good traction, great in the mud. They do tend to dig in deep sand however. Wet traction on road isnt the best, but easily acceptable.

For me, the value, grip, longevity, and overall performance in all conditions is so good, that I have bought three sets of 35's now, and not one bit disappointed. Just ordered yet another set this morning.

Nice video on these.

Had the R/T on my 2018 Cummins and loved them, but they weren't available when I just tried to put them on my 2020 Power Wagon. I installed the Ridge Grapplers instead, but feel the R/T is a better tire ride wise. The R/T is build on the M/T carcass where the Ridge Grappler is built on the A/T carcass and I'm sure this will make a difference in wear and longevity.

I got good mileage out of my Ridge Grapplers. Just was never happy with traction around the farm. Seemed to pack up easily.

Have had my Toyo RTs on for about 25, 000 miles. Very happy so far on my 3500 Mega SRW. 35x12.50x17. Run 55psi front and 35psi rear. 45 in the rear if I’ve got a heavy load. Keep a load chart handy in the console. I didn’t have any issue with them in snow last winter.

Keep in mind CHAINS if you live or go where chains are sometimes required. My current kit is set for 38x13.5 but I only run 37x12.5/13.5's in the winter for clearance. Even with studs and we still need chains sometimes in Alaska.

Love my R/T’s. The tread life has been amazing.

I’m rough on tires...I work in west Texas oil fields..towing..hot..rough lease roads...right of ways with sharp rocks and mesquites....I’ve tried every major brand and their at and mt..my last set was toyo mt..rocks ate them up bad..chipped up..3 flats and a blowout in 15k miles..the only tire ive been able to run to 2/32 without a flat or a blowout was the bfg ko2..they suck in mud but great in the rock and sand out here...mainly I need a tough tire...the ko2 so far is the toughest tire I’ve ran. Worst at was cooper at3 and worst mt was the toyo mt..the toyo mt is great for mall crawlers not for working off road or towing off road.

I've put over 85, 000 miles on two sets of Toyo R/Ts and will be getting a 3rd set when it's time. Great tire, all around.

I run the ridge grapplers on my super duty. Just make sure you keep up with your rotations or you will get some noise as they wear. Probably applies to all tires with an aggressive pattern. The tires are good through. I do know people that have run the RTs to 90k miles. My ridges grapplers won't come close to that.

The Right (Best) tire for a truck??? Two variables width and tread are seldom mentioned regarding geographical location (climate) of the owner, need and use. 1. Wide tire for sand and Narrow for snow. 2. Mud or Snow ...or both should determine the tread (lug) pattern...and not so much the brand name of the tire.

For both mud and snow use....the Interco TrXus tire along with two Goodyear Wrangler tires...the DuraTrac and MT/R with Kevlar are great. The Goodyear Wrangler tires have decent lugs for mud...and siping to bite on snow packed roads.

Most Toyo and Nitto tires are great for sand and mud not the best for snow. Furthermore, Toyo tires tend to be a smidge wide compared to other tires...better for sand, but not the best for snow. The Falken A/T3W is great for snow, but not so good in the mud.

Not many choices for a great mud tire with lots of siping to grip on snow packed roads. It would be awesome if the Goodyear Wrangler tires were made in a more narrow width...like the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 37 x 11.50 - 20 ----> and this tire needs siping on the lugs. makes a 37 x 11.50 - 20. Actual Nitto measurements are 36.77 x 11.42.

The first set of Ridge grapplers didn’t even get a year on my truck and the second set chunked out in their first hour and a half of groomed dirt road.

I have 37x12.5x20 Ridge Grapplers on my F350 LWB. I like it quiet, and have always had Nitto, Toyo and BF Goodrich AT tires and switched to these Ridge Grapplers. They are a little louder but are much better in the dirt getting my trailers and equipment to the job site..It also looks like they wear about the same which is about 40k miles

On my 2019 6.7 power stroke F 250, my wheels keep deforming when I trailer something. I’m running 325/50/22 Arturo tires right now. Any recommendations?

What would be the best tire starting with snow and ice traction and working my way backwards from that? Second thing would be quietness and Offroad?

I'm new to the modified diesel segment. At what point do I need to research when installing larger tires?
