The objective of this guide is to help you understand how to use the NVIDIA encoder (NVenc) in OBS 23.

for the people still having a problem i might be your resolution or your internetspeed
in my case it was both I was trying to use 3840 WITH ONLY 25Mbp so that ain't gonna work after i switched to 1920 with 6000 kbs it worked fine for me

Why after I updated my obs i cant see Nvenc option? only x264 and quicksync h264?

Is it possible to put for example instead of 60 fps 50 fps? Will not this cause a decrease in the quality of the image and the appearance of squares (broken pixels)? Why nobody puts 50 fps or 48fps?

I think i have a strange issue where as soon my GPU engages a videogame, my internet goes down like crazy eating like 95% of my bandwidth and it won't let me stream. If i run Speedtest with no games running, it will go full speed instead. i need help :(

I have a question, why do i got lagging sometimes when im doing recording, but not in gameplay, but not when im using software, dunno but i think my gpu should cover it, im using gtx1060

nope :/ still so slow for me it keeps appearing "try using a faster encoder preset" plus the "overload" thingy is still there! I'm not saying this video is unhelpful but it doesn't work for me

I always get an error when i want to use NVENC I got gt 650m with newest drivers and i also closed all other programs

10% lagged frames even with Max perfomance preset

So my OBS is able to RECORD everything including the audio just fine. The only issue is, when I have my Bluetooth headset connected, when I start recording, I am no longer able to hear anything but I am pretty sure the audio is still being recorded. When I try to disconnect my headset to restart it (which works when it is having issues outside of OBS) it does not work and says it’s connected even when it’s turned off until I close down OBS. I do not have this problem when I use earbuds physically connected to the laptop via port. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
