I saw Julian Lennon live at Jones Beach theater in Long Island, NY. Although he had a youthful John-looking similarity, he stood alone as a new, updated version very much his own personality. I have never forgotten that! A beautiful moment of music by this talented young man!

I think Julian is an original. The kid is extremely talented. He may sound like his dad because John is his dad but Julian does not go out of his way to sound like him. Julian is straight up he would never "cash in" that just be!

Paul is also hesitant because he doesn’t want to see Julian Drawn into the Beatles madness Because of some of the more obsessive and frankly crazy Beatles fans, dream that. the Beatles can be reunited using the children of the Beatles and have Paul knows that if anything like that was to ever happen the full weight of all the craziness of being a beetle will be transferred onto the next generation He wouldn’t wish that upon anybody’s children let alone John’s or George’s or Ringos or his own for that matter the craziness that goes along with anyone and anything or anyplace that’s associated with the title the Beatles is a powerful force that sweeps away much rational thought and self-restraint from some peoples minds. That’s part of the reason they stopped touring was that because everywhere they went there seem to already be some kind of craziness already in the process of going off and there showing up usually would just tip the scales to anarchy. With them trapped in the middle of it all just trying to not get trampled by it all and to safely get out with most of their gear without getting arrested

My own son sounds like me too. When he lived at home with me people would think it was me answering the phone when it was him. Though Julian not only sounds similar to his Dad he also has a unique talent, his recordings are equally as good.
