John Lennon’s son Julian paid tribute to Sir Paul McCartney in a sweet social media post marking The Beatles star’s 82nd birthday.

It follows an announcement from the veteran singer that he will be performing in the UK for the first time since headlining Glastonbury in 2022.

Of course everything is made larger than life in the media workld and this was just as true with how the media tried to define ecah Beatle. John the acerbic leader, Paul the ballader, George the spiritual one and Ringo the solid down to earth guy., These traits were true but only a tiny part of each individual. Where am I leading with this? For all the spiritual preaching, Maharishi craziness and even magic Alex, George and John are outdone in this category by their sons. I don't have mucj knowledge of Danhi but Julian Lennon has remained the most forgiving, kind, selfless, beautiful spritual individual of them all. An incredible gentle soul and one who has not had his musical output fairly appreciated as there are so many gems in there. I really appreciate the bond that he and Julian have held together throughout their combined lifetimes. Mutual respect without the gush.

So for me the award for the most humble and beautiful person within the Beatles circle goes to Julian. Long may he live a life full of love and hope. There was a man that for the most part, despite being up against it all showed the most humility, the biggest heart and amazing grace.

yes, a good man is Paul and always was the most like Beatle followed by Ringo and George. John was respected for his talent as a singer and writer, however, his personality was a different story. Ever the pragmatist covered over with quick remarks delivered as a joke but trying to put people down. John was well balanced with a chip on each shoulder. No one liked Yoko or appreciated the influence she had over John. John was self centred and selfish and she Played him like a fiddle.
