Lie Witness News – Conflict in Zamunda

The Coming to America films are about the royal family of a fictitious African nation called Zamunda, and our Guest Host Arsenio Hall thought we could have some fun with that. So we sent a camera crew out on to Hollywood Boulevard and we asked people for their thoughts on the crisis in Zamunda. Zamunda is not a real place, but these folks lied their asses off anyway in a new edition of #LieWitnessNews.

This is what our education system does. It's literally the exact same thing that happens in classrooms across the United States 5 days a week. Kids learning how to pretend that they read something that they didn't and discussing it with other kids that didn't read their homework because many parents are disengaged and over worked and don't have the time or energy to pay attention to what their kids are doing.

This stuff, while hilarious, is just plain pathetic. These people lie, because they want to feel like they’re part of the group that’s in the know—like they’re a part of something big.

This is also exactly what people do when it comes to claiming that things are offensive. Those people aren’t actually offended. They just pretend to be, so that they can feel like they’re doing something meaningful, when really, they’re just being obnoxious pricks.
