George Floyd was a horrible person and the fact that there's statues and murals of him makes me sick 🤮

The black NASCAR driver who mistook a random rope in his car’s garage as symbol of lynching comes to mind. It was a few years ago.

My friend died around the same time as Floyd. It was the beginning of C19. I remember sitting at home during his funeral because i couldn't attend due to lockdown. At the same time thousands were gathering for that criminal to mourn someone they never met. That was a cannon moment for me. I lost all trust in the media and the government.

In my town there was just a guy who was in the paper for having been viciously beat up by a gang of middle aged guys who laughed while doing it. Hundreds turned up in a parade for this person singing kumbayah, how this pillar of society could be the target of such a hate crime, disgusted that there is such rampant racism here. The police were scolded for not investigating, since it would be easy to find out who they were.

Turned out he had been at a party and got too drunk, subsequently faceplanted going on a electric scooter, knocking all his teeth out. As a proud muslim he could of course not admit to that.

I'm going to remember this man's name, Wilfred Reilly. I can't believe this is my first time hearing him! A reasonable and informed non-partisan academic with a great sense of humor and an appeal to sensibility. THIS is the kind of person we need to be elevating to prominence.

Just to remind people, a huge amount of people thought Kyle Rittenhouse shot 3 black people. To this day, people still argue that he commited a hate crime against black people.

Once again, a Triggernometry interview makes me feel so much better. There are still sane and intelligent people in the world!

I am a retired police officer who worked during those events and retired shortly afterward.

Officers did pull back, not wanting to be the next officer in the news cycle.

I would add something not mentioned nearly enough. A LOT of older experienced officers retired during this time. This left a lack of institutional knowledge that simply was not passed on to the younger generation of officers.

Need more of Wilfred Reilly. Now is the time for this to come out from him since he knows the real world and he has a good sense of humor.

What I find most concerning about the fake hate crime narratives, is that people continue to believe the lies even after the truth comes out.

Race grifting is big business. Academia, media, sports, entertainment, politics… too much money to be made. And you can only come out against it at your peril.

How have I not heard about this man before? He's so relatable and he has just confirmed everything I've been saying (and been canceled for) in the last 6 years! Wonderful to listen to. I will be buying his book. Fantastic interview. So intelligent and packed with real common sense. Thank you!

Gotta be, hands down, one of the best Triggernometry guests you've had on, and that is a very high bar. I hope we'll be hearing more from him as these issues continue to bedevil us as we move forward, and upward thanks to his insights.

What a wonderful interview. I'd love to see Wilfred Reilly chat with Glenn Loury and John McWhorter about the growing appreciation of Thomas Sowell's work.

The lady with the bike was a 5ft tall 6m pregnant women who just finished a double nursing shift and went to retrieve her bike but a small group of dudes was keeping her from it - she was so wronged and I hope she got lifechanging money from the news sources who tried to eff this beautiful womans life up -

I watched all this, and not only did it confirm what I've been thinking for quite some time, but it also felt strangely exhilarating in the sense that it cleared the air of all the foul fog and smoke of current the cultural TRENDS and brought clarity, and soundness of mind!
