BONZOUR from the beautiful African island nation of MAURITIUS!

(I didn't misspell 'Bonzour,' it means 'Hello' in their language of Creole, which is very similar to French) ;)

If you are like I was a few days ago, then you don't know much about this hidden country of Mauritius, which lies off the southeastern coast of Africa.

But after getting in touch with some locals from Mauritius who have kindly introduced me to their culture and showed me around the island -- I have put together this video which highlights the most interesting things I've learned about Mauritius so far.

Utterly gorgeous I’ve been to Mauritius 23 times, both on holiday and as a Flight Attendant (Cabin Crew). Beautiful breathtaking scenery and Mauritians are friendly, warm people, indeed! I’d highly recommend visiting the fabulous Flic-en-Flac beach, Grand Baie, Mahebourg and Port places👍👌

i know that when i was 9 i needed to do a lecture about a country and i did it about Mauritius and all the kids where looking at me like crazy freaks because they didn't know the country. I got an A btw.

I went there in January. Our maid is from Mauritius and she convinced us to go there, and I'm glad she did. Beautiful country, would definitely want to go there again. The food is top notch as well :)

I have always been drawn to that place maybe for a silly reason: the name in Spanish for Mauritius is "Mauricio" (which is a male name the equivalent of "Maurice" in English). Being "Mauricio" my second name, well when I was child I was fascinated when I learned about the existance of such an island with "my" name". So I have always read about the place and it keeps my interest, so diverse, so multicultural, stable and a quiet and nice place for people to live.
