In this clip I will show you how to relieve pain in the infraspinatus and how to eliminate trigger points in this muscle, using a myofascial self release.

You will do this self administred release with a cork massage ball against a wall.

Dude this video really helped me out! God bless you, I had nobody to massage me in that area and this really works relieving the pain. To give it back I want to help out there if you don't have a ball lying around. I just improvised, just stuff some used a4 paper together to make a ball and use tape to make it rigid. Also I found out that if you put the ball in a sock you will be able to adjust the position easier just by holding the top part of the sock.

You explain very well. Thank you. I am wondering if tringer point in the infraspinatus could be the reason of a tension on all one side of the back? Also when i am massaging the trigger points i am having burps! Why so? Thank you in advance for your answer :)

Hi how often would I do this? How many times weekly? I've been dealing with pain in two distinct points on my posterior portion of my body. My neck and also my shoulder blade area. Also with anterior shoulder tenderness. So I'm sure it's to do with this. Thanks

Hi Jan,
First of all thank you for your very helpful vids about trigger points.
This said, is it normal that my chronic trigger points are not still released after 5 days of massage (3 times a day for each zone) ? Do i have to insist on the long haul ?
