It's time to delve into the untold story of Andros' original team in Power Rangers In Space! We unravel the enigmatic backstory of the Red Ranger, exploring the hidden depths of the Power Rangers universe and shedding light on a mystery that has puzzled fans for years. Through mind-bending speculation, captivating discussions, and thrilling revelations, we figure out the truth!

Power Rangers In Space, often abbreviated as "PRIS" is the sixth season of Power Rangers, serving as an adaptation of the 21s Super Sentai series, Denji Sentai Megaranger. The show was dubbed in Korean and aired in South Korea as Megaranger (메가레인저 Megaleinjeo), taking after its Sentai counterpart.

The season concludes the narrative established towards the end of Power Rangers Turbo and concludes the six-year long Zordon Era, ending the practice of a continuous serial-style show with a regular cast that carried over from one season to the next. In the season, the former Turbo Rangers leave Earth behind to chase after Divatox into space, where they meet Andros and come into conflict with the United Alliance of Evil.

For a show called ‘Power Rangers In Space’ they were on Earth an awful lot

Has literally no one mentioned Leo as one of the best reds? Dude was awesome! Great character development too! I feel like Lost Galaxy are so overlook because most people consider em a transitional season but i really dont. They have way too much in common with previous seasons than any series after em. For me thats the last season of Zordon era.
Besides Leo really like Wes, Andros and Jason!

I grew up with In Space being my favorite, so this one resonates with me! I really hope the In Space or Galaxy rangers show up in Cosmic Fury, that would just blow my mind.

when talking about the best red ranger people rarely mention carter, which is a shame because i think he deserves to be in that conversation

Andros is not traumatized by losing a team. As he specifically states with the Flashback that it was him and his best friend Zane. “We were a team.” His trauma comes from his Best friend nearly dying to save him and his guilt from not being able to save his sister. There was obviously supposed to be a full team but until TJ, Cassie, Carlos, and Ashley showed up there wasn’t one. To me Boom comics created a mess in trying to give a solution to a mystery that never was. If there was other team members why were they left behind. Andros couldn’t leave Zane behind. Why only take the morphers of the others. Because they were never in use. KO 35’s team was just Andros and Zane. That’s it.

I wouldn't say Andros is the _best_ Red Ranger, Tommy is hard to beat because, well, he's Tommy, but he certainly is my _favorite._ In Space was just so epic and the scope and depth of the story telling hit me at a critical time in my life and his influenced the kinds of story telling I like as well as my own writing and story telling to this day. I love and expansive narrative.

Power Rangers in Space is one of my favorite Power Rangers season ever!
I love the motif and the overall storyline. It's more dramatic than the previous seasons. Very Star Wars original trilogy-like in feel where Andros has to save his sister from someone who basically turned her to the dark side <---Real funny.

Andros never had a whole team....It was just him and Zhane. They probably were planning on recruiting more members at one point. That's why he had extra morphers, but when Zhane got hurt, he decided against it.

question of the day: why do some power ranger helmets have lips on them?

One thing I’m actually glad about; Zhane is LEFT HANDED!!!! So glad they finally had a ranger that is a southpaw! I know it’s not that common, but still!

When you mentioned Walt Disney being frozen, the Irony is that it was the complete opposite, He was burned, in other words, he was actually Cremated lol I just thought it was funny because I remember learning in school that he was frozen, but later looked it up and the complete polar opposite and saw that he was actually burned(cremated) and his urn was buried at a famous cemetery.

Andros actually is my favorite. Loved the whole stealth undercover thing.

Casey (Jungle Fury Red) imo because he had to overcome so much to earn the respect of the team and eventually became a master

For the canon of the show I believe the team was assembled by Zordon who likely told Andros that this mission would aid him in finding his sister. He helped put a team together, and they protected sections of space. Zordon likely checked in from time to time and had them as a backup team just in case. Zordon is the type to do that and keep the Space Powers secret from the other rangers. He also, is not above saying things such as manipulating Andros by bringing up these powers would come in handy in finding his sister. Zordon is not a bad guy, quite the opposite but he was not perfect and very well could have said that. My version of events is partly supported too by us knowing in the canon he did keep the powers a secret and knew of the in Space team being active while he had active rangers on Earth. The team died in that attack we saw and Andros was torn up bc he had spent months working with them and he recruited them bc he was on a mission to find his sister and Zordon convinced him this would help. So he blames himself for his team dying bc he feels they were there because of him and his mission and his ambitions to get answers and it lead to their deaths. Andros likely focused the missions on clues for his sister as she was related to the incidents in Space in the areas he covered as a ranger so that means almost everything they did was interconnected to his sister. Meaning they died for his cause, in a sense.

I remember Power ranger in space was supposed to be the last season of ranger and they went all out on it cause the toys wasn't sell and they was going cancel it so Space literally save the whole Power ranger franchises and still this today I wish the psycho ranger got their own spin-off show where they turn good and we see them have be human and protect and they team up with Power ranger in space, that would be awesome and as kid that what I thought to of Andros lose his entire team and only him and Zhane survivor and kept their Morpher as just in case to find his team but since he was acting alone he never need a new team
