3:08 The fasces symbolize "strength in unity". It's a metaphor: sticks are weak individually, but become very strong when bound together.

aah..molise..the italian Ohio.
Never been there though, if it's materially possible even to get there like some say.

I'm sorry to be the annoying guy, but it's not "Stallone d'Italia", which means Stallion of Italy, but "Stellone d'Italia", Big Star of Italy

Nonostante le differenze fra nord e sud l'Italia è un grande Paese ! Mi sento orgoglioso di essere italiano.

Actually the first italian country to adopt officially the Tricolore as flag was the Cispadana Republic, it happened the 7th January 1797 in Reggio nell'Emilia, still known as "Città del Tricolore"

i love the italian flag. every time i think of the Italian flag colours i think,
green for olives
white for the white buildings
red for the tomato/wine
probably not what was intended, but i prefer this meaning

Imagine a post apocalyptic game intro with the Zimbabwe Geography Now episode airing on a computer.

Green is for veggies, white is for cheese, red is for sauce.

What I think the Italian flag means:
Green=Basil
White=Mozzarella
Red=Tomato sauce
So it's basically pizza

2:18 It's "stellone d'Italia" ("big star of Italy"), not "stallone": "stallone" in Italian means "breeding horse" 😅

It should be "StEllone d'Italia", the big star of Italy. Stallone means stallion which is still quite accurate to describe us italians... if you know what I mean

As someone who loved in Italy for almost a year I have to say that the green on the flag represents the carpets on each balcony

Barbs just want to put it out there. The Italian name you read in that mail, "Chiara" is pronounced literally Kiara. The "ch" makes a "k" sound.
But don't worry, pretty much all foreigners get this wrong.
