The story with the harp is the high king of Ireland, Brian Boru was said to have played the harp. There is a traditional Irish song called Brian Boru'a harp...The more you know! Great video by the way!

Just saying, Northern Ireland doesn't actually _have_ a flag at the moment. The one you mentioned at 1:52 was done away with in the 1970s for political reasons. That flag is now only really used at football matches, otherwise the St. Patrick's Cross is used.
