For the wired CarPlay, you can actually buy a wireless CarPlay adapter if you want it to connect when you hop in without having to plug the phone in.

I’m a little late to this video. Do you still have this truck? Still liking the upgrade? I have very similar truck but 2014. It has the Sony speakers- any issues with that, that you’re aware of?

HL3Z-10E893-AA 2016+ Ford F-150 OEM GPS and Satellite antenna and to get the signal to the OEm antenna is GL3Z-10E928-AA (splitter) and to access the cable is behind your glove box yellow clip and follow to your radio. to swap roof antenna remove passager visior hindge and mount removed pass side "A" pillar pull down the head liner to access the bolt that holds the roof mount (8mm) screw Signal strength is alot better. FYI

Is the audio quality any better? I really want to upgrade my 14 fx4 sync for more functionality like Android auto etc, but my main thing is audio quality. The stock Sony system is okay at best and idk if it's the head unit that's the issue or the amp that's used

I just got a 2013 Lariat and I'm looking to purchase this. Was there anything additional you had to do to keep the heated and cooled seats working? Or did the system just seem to sync to it automatically? No pun intended.

I totally have the same issue with the climate kind of annoying but not a deal breaker. I tried using forscan to enable the overlay for climate but it didn't work
