Darby was a cult leader, and he still has followers to this day. It isn't hard to win in an argument with a Dispensationalist if it is based solely on the Bible. This is why they still will disown you as a brother/sister if you don't agree with them. They would rather sour the relationship than discuss their beliefs based on the Word of God.

I grew up in the pre-trib Dispensationalist era. It was taught from the pulpit as doctrine. This is why so many people have a hard time questioning it against the Bible. They assume since it came from the pulpit, it can't be wrong. But it's wrong. I thank God for his Word and his Holy Spirit that helps us understand God's truth once we are willing to put away man's interpretation and truly study, scripture against scripture.

At the end of the seventy weeks of Daniel, (i.e.490 years, ) Dan.9:24, sin sacrifices were to end and atonement for iniquity made available. Every Christian should know only one human in history accomplished this. And then the Temple would be left “desolate.” This happened and all history records it at 70 AD. By the “rod of iron” of Christ, the roman armies. Daniel 9:27 proves this beyond doubt stating “in the middle of the week, He (i.e. Messiah) will cause the “sacrifices and oblations” to cease. Christ fulfilled this, coming in the ‘glory of the Father’ and destroyed “Old Covenant” Israel, her having been divorced for spiritual adultery...
Dispensationalists rob Christ of this His greatest act and turn his deed into the mythical “anti-Christ.”  What a travesty. To do this they created the lie of the “gap theory.”
The prophecy of God has proved true now for 2 thousand years. The Jews have done everything possible to rebuild the old system, but Christ has not allowed it. How could He? How could He allow His passion to be rejected in favor of the “Old Covenant?” Jesus prophesied the Temple system would never produce spiritual fruit “ever again, henceforth.” People, the day the Temple is rebuilt, will be the day Christ will be shown a “false prophet.” And that will never happen. They have preached the 3rd Temple with such veracity, that most Christians think it’s a done deal. But Christ will never allow it. Hal and Jack and John and Pat and all of them have been promising the rebuilt Temple none stop since 1970’s Late Great Planet. But still no Temple.
We have all been taught to translate Christ’s words based on the doctrine we’ve all been fed by the Zionist controlled tele evangelists. It’s time we gave the words of Christ preeminence over doctrine once again. The rapture doctrine is dying and the spiritual kingdom of Christ, existing now for 2000 years is bringing new life in Christ’s beleaguered body.

The fig tree is physical Israel. She was alive, leaves, but she never produced fruit, i.e. Isaiah 5 and Matt. 21:33 and Matt. 21:43 Matthew 21:43 (NKJV)

The Apostle Paul speahs of dispensations. So that man didn't start "dispensations". Who you trying to fool? Are you another "Apostle Paul denier"?

Wrong! If Jesus returns??? No. It is not if He returns, but when He returns!!! It does make a difference where He comes back. Coming back to Jerusalem like it says in scripture fulfills prophecy. Jesus Christ coming back to Tokyo would make God a liar. You are spiritualizing almost everything.That leads into serious misinterpretation of scripture. If it makes plane literal sense, seek no other sense. We are just going to have to agree to disagree. God bless.

I am reading Robert Raymond's systematic theology, and I do not see how full Preterism is in contradiction to covenant theology.
I am the opposite of you, you were in full Preterism and moved out of it, I was in dispensationalism and moving towards full Preterism.
