They r wrong in so many things, but i must say: They are the reason why i became interested in getting to know God.Of course they teach a lot of things wrong, but if wasn't for them, i would never be interested. Of course i'm a born-again Christian today, thank God!

I've done my fair share of witnessing to JW's...not an easy task. I found John 8:58 to be the most effective piece of scripture...Also Isaiah 45:21-22 cf. Phil 2:9

In John 20 Thomas says "my Lord my God.."

First I ask them who raised Jesus from the dead, then I make sure they absolutely base their whole belief structure on their answer being God. Then I hit them with John 2:19.

it amazes me that the Christian Bible stays mostly the same with very little deviations for hundreds of years and then is translated to keep the same meanings into different languages. These other religions like Catholicism or Jehovah looks like a person was trying to write their own story...

Being a ex-JW.... can tell u how a witness would debate "the kingdom of God." They would say the kingdom of God is here on earth. The Trinity the would say...that they are not all 3 mentioned together....how would i combat those arguments?

How about this one...where Jesus says Before Moses was I AM.
JOHN 8:56-59 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” 59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Just a comment about your first 'proof'. JWs will say that Rev 1:17 is talking about Jesus; which it is, since prior to that when John turned to see who was speaking 1:13 says it is someone like 'a son of man'. But you could go to the other scriptures in Revelation that talk about the first and last and alpha and omega, etc... then tie that back to Jesus, a truth lover would see that they are one. One problem is they have taken out the first part of Rev 1:11. They just start with "saying: 'What you see write . . .". The KJV says: "Saying, I am thje Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and what you see write . . . " That would clearly show Jesus is Jehovah. . .but they don't want to admit that. And note: I am not criticizing you. Loved what you did.

I talked with two jw's today and I think they believe the kingdom of God is a government on earth...how do I disprove that because I believe the kingdom of God is heaven but didn't know how to prove it with scripture

However, *_not all_* Christians believe that Yahweh is Jesus. *_Not all_* Christians believe the Holy Spirit is Yahweh. There are some of us who believe that the three are God, but those are separate entities with their own unique personalities.
