In 2017 I was eating a Keto diet when I was diagnosed with H.Pylori. It was so painful I cried. I changed to carnivore diet and I got over it without medication. It took a while but I've never had it since then.

I was treated for YEARS with gastric issues so bad it caused Barretts Esophagus and I was getting annual scopes and biopsies for cancer. Did EVERYTHING they told me, took meds which of course lowered my acid. They SWORE it must have been h pylori but kept testing negative. Totally REVERSED with two things. SEPARATE food and liquid by an hour minimum. And.... STOPPED EATING CARBS. I only have a flare up now when I eat carbs or eat and drink at the same time. No more lesions in my last endoscopy. Healed and OFF all meds.

Love this doctor. Compared to others who just scare you but offer no real solutions, he's the BEST❤

I have an ulcer and was eating a very healthy diet but after testing it turns out I am allergic to most vegetables, all nuts and seeds and fruits. I was diagnosed with celiac disease 23 years ago and thought I was eating healthy.
Those healthy vegetables were eating a hole in my stomach and it turns out I have scarring in my stomach from previous ulcers.
Being undiagnosed for so long has created two kinds of arthritis in my body plus fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome
I have been carnivorous for a couple of months now and I am starting to feel better- finally !
It took a biofeedback naturopath to help me when decades of FDA trained medical professionals did squat . Much appreciation to this doctor for stepping out of the box and speaking truth

Studies in Europe (more likely to publish studies that negate modern living than U.S., unfortunately, and more likely for Drs to follow newer studies there) showed that H.Pylori could be a beneficial bacteria in staving off other stomach infections. The theory that my brother's doctor told him in France was they don't want to kill h.pylori but make it not react negatively in his stomach, so they used diet to help him reduce his symptoms. I was told over a decade ago (pre-carnivore) that I needed to get rid of h.pylori, which I did, and a short few years later I developed "idiopathic" Gastroparesis. Gastroparesis symptoms showed up after I got a stomach virus that lasted over 3 days, never had anything like it before. After my brother had told me what Drs do in Europe, not kill h.pylori, and they think it combats some viruses, I thought maybe that's what happened to me. I researched and found out that a serious virus could damage the stomach nerve and cause Gastroparesis. So, heed Dr. Berry's advice and don't get rid of your h.pylori, instead change your diet. Gastroparesis has been absolutely life altering for me. Even on carnivore diet, I still have to eat 3 meals per day because I cannot eat large meals and overwhelm my stomach since it cannot churn the food in it.
Studied have shown that when you get your stomach acid to the proper level, it causes h.pylori to stop causing havoc in your stomach, and maybe it is what you need to fight some nasty viruses.

I cured myself from barretts esophagus and chronic gastritis (not from h pylori), by eating mostly carnivore and taking betaine hcl and a few other things, after Dr told me it was not possible to cure

It’s true because to digest meat one needs strong acid; the pH of the stomach lowers to ranges 2-3 in the pH scale which is typical pH of very healthy stomach. With this super acid pH, the bacteria H pylori is totally destroyed

Wow I was wondering about that because I have gastritis I gave up on going to the gastroenterologist I've been to 3 of them and all they tell me is to eat fiber I tried that and it only made things worse I've been watching a lot of carnivore influencers for a long time now and Lisa lisa talks about how the carnivore diet healed her ibs thank you for all the information and encouragement you share it really makes a difference when you give solutions and hope ❤

The terrain theory rather than germ theory makes more sense. Drs. Sam and Mark Bailey are on to something.

I developed reflux in 2018 after Achilles surgery with lots of IV and oral antibiotics. I had been paleo for 15 years before that, never had any digestive issues. I managed it with HCL, and got rid of it for a while with immunoglobulins. But if I drink ANY alcohol, it comes back. I drink very little, I’ll often go 2-3 months at a time without any, but on rare occasions I’ll have 2 glasses of wine with friends for a nice dinner. Now I have reflux again. 😑

I hope this ahort is just the beginning of a much larger exploration. I've been of the mind that illness culminates from the loss of homeostasis in the body... through insufficient sleep, loss of well-being, incorrect diet, lacj of time outdoors, etc. Our diagnoses are often naming the symptoms, not the root cause. And our medical system is positioned to "help alleviate the symptoms", not cure the root cause.
I am thankful every day for the ability to educate myself in the most recent research available, through these doctors and scientists who so freely share their knowledge and their findings.

I was just diagnosed with h-Pilori; I have Barrett’s esophagus; just had A EGD, Drs putting me on two antibiotics and 3 pepto bismal daily for 10 days. I’ve been ketovore 5 years now. I don’t cheat. The doctor told me that this bacteria probably came from drinking some water? I only drink bottled water or could’ve been from when I was spent some time in the hospital about seven months ago, and could give me no other reason for having this. But I was told that, could cause me to have stomach cancer if I don’t get it treated

Used to take zinc carnosine for it. Trying carnivore to see if digestive issues subside or terminate.

I was labeled by psychiatrist with anorexia for weight loss I had, poor appetite, and vomiting. No history of eating disorder. Finally diagnosed on endoscopy with multiple stomach ulcers from h-pylori.
