In short. Vivo take a nice normal and portrait photo. Xiaomi win in zoom department. But how many time we actually zoom and take photo/video. So I think vivo win in this. And vivo x100 pro is cheaper

What's the sense of making a macro comparison using the main camera which, on Xiaomi 14 Ultra, is the only one that DOESN'T support macro? 75mm and 120mm are floating lens to support macro and you took photos only with the 23mm...

I like this style of review. you're now doing commentary this is better!

Thank you Sami for this comparison and all the work you put in! I like this style better with more explanation. I like the Xiaomi better because of the less sharpening and less saturation. It's makes me a little sad that it has less dynamic range and the video jitter at night is bad. Vivo is amazing for the price now.

Sorry but Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a big disappointment for its price. Not that much better than Vivo.

Thanks Sami, the photo section was the better! I have never saw you doing this in your videos, keep that! Fundamentally, the portraits without portait mode with the 1 inch sensors are incredible!

Vivo thanks to special processor V3 gonna be always the best in photography

After seeing a lot of comparisons, I can easily say that Vivo X100 Pro has set a milestone for all the upcoming premium smartphones in terms of camera.
It's literally the phone camera to beat in 2024.

I feel like the engineers that used to work for Huawei's camera department now work for Vivo. Fine showing from the Vivo there.

Sami I love you man!! Awesome vibes and content. Even though I am a Xiaomi fan, I am so surprised with Vivo, the portait shots and the night stabilization, are maybe the best in the industry as of right night. It's like sorcery. Well done Vivo, you caught my attention 👏

Hi Sami thank you for the comparison. in the camera settings on Xiaomi there should be an option to choose exposure metering preference for face or entire scène. maybe this can make a difference with the overexposure in portraits and regular pictures? Not 1 reviewer showed this in action, I am curious if it makes a difference.

I prefer these longer videos over your short videos. Your short videos where you do a quick unboxing are honestly a waste of time to watch as you don't gain much information from them. These longer videos have so much valuable information in them so we definitely appreciate the time you've taken with it.

I think Vivo is more consistent and also provide natural colors. Over sharpening on Xiaomi is just nasty.

9:23 I don't like Xiaomi's stabilization at night... there are those strange micro vibrations that create those bounces if you look especially at the lights while you move... instead Vivo is nice and stable even on the lights.

If you use your smartphone with point and shoot (like 80% of people) then choose Vivo and it takes better photos. If you use RAW files for professional work, buy Xaomi. Generally speaking, these are the two top cameraphones to beat.

Vivo wins. Period. At 9:02 the difference in the stabilization test at night was just massive.

Though, I'm a Xiaomi fan, I'd be honest - Vivo was unmatched !!

In mirrorless camera people use 60mm 85mm and 120mm to shoot portrait/people but in mobile world people used to capture moon and tall building why is that?
