Greyed CC captions button : How to force it to work on new/old videos

Subtitles text translations : do this on every video you upload - on some channels the CC button has a glitch so you have to manually force it to turn ON

It seems reuploading the page will make the "Processing" appear faster.

Tip: on old videos, if you don't see a translation text in 'Published', reupload again the same video with a better sound and clear voice from the start, and copy and paste the translation from this second video onto the original one under the 'Published' button

The translation text may take a while to appear on your channel after the upload - will show as "Processing.." especially on longer videos - give it a few hours and come back to Publish
