Love it! Just outstanding. The soundtrack of my youth. I can't help but get so emotional thinking back to those I Love who are no longer here.

Went to this tour in Portland Maine on August 28th, 1978 to hear Dr My Eyes and Rock Me on the Water and came away with Running on Empty and the Load Out/Stay. What a show! And on the way to New Jersey from Portland he wrote The Road. RIP David Lindley, a great musician, who contributed so much to Jackson Browne's music.

A man born with unlimited talent and wisdom. David was so great on everything he did too. I love the lyric " I'm going back inside and turning out the lights and i'll be in the dark but you'll be out of sight". One of so many great lyrics. Our national poet. I also saw them on this tour in 78. I was already a fan but after the concert i was a fan for life. I'm almost 68 so i was 22 or so when i first saw Jackson. I listen to his music pretty much every day. He was right about so many things in his lyrics long before he was 30. Life goes by so fast, "in the blink of an eye" is so true. He's magical, this whole band was fantastic. David L. was so perfect on strings, he was amazing.

I saw this concert in 1978. Not at this venue/State but was pretty much the same. I first saw him in 1974. The best concert ever and his opening act was Bonnie Raitt. I have seen him 14 times. I LOVE Jackson Browne. So talented and sexy!!!

Lindley's lap steel was 2nd to none. The whole band was super talent. I saw them on the Running On Empty tour. In my top 10 of best concerts and I've seen a lot

On “Here come those tears again” ; it was co-written with Nancy Farnsworth the mother of his first wife. She brought it to Jackson, no personal stuff in this song. I forgot to mention these lyrics, which have to belong only to Jackson : “I’ll be in the dark, but you’ll be out of sight.” What a great line.

Vintage live show, incredible audio if this is from VHS. Thanks so much for posting this, which was only stumbled upon on a fruitless search for a live cut of From Silver Lake. What a set list.

I went to his concert in Memphis TN and it was amazing. I went with my 2 friends and they had front row seats, but I was back about 10 rows. I got HIGH HIGH. My seat mates had so much weed. I wasn't use to it. I remember a beautiful usher approach me and asked if I was alone and I said I'm with a few people. She asked if I wanted to hangout after the show. We'll meet up with the band. I was so stoned that I turned her down. This is a regret I still live with. I wonder if she was the one?
