I must admit I am enjoying watching dexter again after so many years from seeing it originally when it first came out but I dunno, maybe it is because times have changed or I have but I laugh at most of it, even though it is still enjoyable. I mean some of it though is silly. She was looking for the ice van killer for weeks or something and that other guy says did you check for traffic violations, oh look this guy was stopped for speeding twice lets check him out, ohhhh loook what we have, only the ice truck killer. I mean ffs lol

When the characters of dexter are faced with a traumatizing event it just highlights how 2 dimensional they are. Mesuka still can’t stop making sex jokes, Debra still just being bitchy to everyone and swearing as much as humanly possible, I was waiting for dexter to wake up and realize he had tripped on a toy and the whole thing was a dream. It felt more like an episode of twilight zone or something that would take place in dexters mind than reality. Everyone’s reaction is so bad, and It was way too dark, it immediately took away any redeemable quality of the show almost like they wanted us to stop watching. Which would’ve been cool if they didn’t keep making episodes.
