Of all the things Crosshair done, this is the most justified

Crosshair during the Clone Wars: I don't care if another 'reg' dies.

Crosshair this episode: **begs for Mayday's life**

Showed how much he had grown as a person.

Mayday is one of those extremely rare short lived characters who despite having such a breif appearance they go out leaving one hell of an impact.

Something I found jnteresting is the way the storm troopers take interest in them returning, some even hesitate a bit to get back to work, I like to imagine that shows that storm troopers have a level of respect for clones

"You... You could have _saved him...!"_
For some reason, I love how Baker nails the seething venomous *rage* at that last part.

I like that even the TK troopers looked concerned for the clones. Makes it seem as if not all stormtroopers hated on them and some had respect.

Crosshair went from saying: "no point in carrying dead weight"

To ultimately carrying dead weight and risking his life. All to just be disrespected and used.

cody's line: "sometimes in war, its hard to be the one who survives." hits even harder now

Mayday's death crushed me. I almost started crying no soldier should be treated that way.

The clones fate is sadder than the jedi. While most jedi died fighting, the clones that killed them were never honored never praised just discarded like an empty ammo magazine and left to rot without anything but memories and slowly crumbling armor.

This is honestly the most crucial moment for Crosshair. I think he realizes finally that Rampart was never the problem. He was just a symptom of the actual problem.

He just realized too late that he was part of that problem too.

I like how…uneventful Mayday’s death is. No final words, no last act of defiance, he just lets out one last choke for air…and dies.

This is a first time when we see crosshair's humanity

Crosshair went from hating Regs to treating them like family because that's all he has left.

Hearing Crosshair pleading for someone’s life brought me to tears

As sad as it is, I think it was Mayday hearing that even now, they didn't care and never intended to get him help that made him finally give up surviving. He was clinging to some hope that there was still a place for him, but a refusal of triage basically meant the end for him.

The only people who really cared about the clones were the Jedi and they're nearly all gone by this point. A double tragedy.

And so Crosshair finally sees the truth about the Empire that his squad were trying to tell him; it doesn't care about you and it's not worth serving.

Looks like Crosshair redemption might be starting to appear and him trying to rescue his fellow Commander brother was totally justified indeed well done for being a true hero figure for once Crosshair, because, I’ve grown a liking on you a little bit now is that alright to say Star Wars fans!

😢 @0:41 “ Did you hear what I said, Help him”
The first time anyone has ever heard of Crosshair, begging 🥺 ( his voice breaking ) to save a life of a Reg. Even when cross hair needs a Medic as well. He puts Mayday’s concerns above his own.
