"we can do this general"
they both knew they will not make it but they both were pretending they can make it.... i love this scene
And the best thing in this scene is that they died as friends on the same side

0:45 i love how he deflected 9 shots in like 2 seconds when he realised that Keeli died. He really was close to his troopers...

Too bad Master Yura Gun Liv couldn't get there in time

Poor Master Di and Keeli. Their appearance was memorable for characters that only appeared in one episode.

I really love this last stand because in a war where there isn’t a true good guy, master di and captain Keeli really show how noble and good the jedi and the republic are supposed to be

“This is Republic Blockade Runner 0-niner-niner, we have broken through” that part always gets me. You did it boys, rest in peace ❤️

For a Jedi that only appears in one episode, his fighting style is pretty badass.

This is why I love this episode. It defines that the CIS are fully capable of handling themselves without Grevious or Dooku, etc. Without just telling us that they’re a big threat. It also shows that the Jedi are ready to sacrifice anything to help others.

12 year old me was not ready for this scene. I immediately loved this new Jedi Master we had just gotten introduced to. And as a huge Rex fanboy Keeli seemed like all of the best parts of Rex and more. I was so hyped to see where their story went. And what I got was one of the most powerful scenes I still think I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t believe it when they fell, I kept waiting for them to get back up. My favorite Jedi and clone of all time. Almost a decade later and it’s still fresh, it sure as hell was memorable

People usually associate clones and Jedi with order 66, and some fail to recognize that these clones fought and died bravely, with dignity and pride alongside their generals.

If you're going to die, you might as well go out the way these guys did: Fighting for the lives of others and being supremely cool while doing it.

It saddens me that nobody in-universe seems to remember these fallen warriors as the heroes they were.

Though we knew little about him, to me Master Ima-gun was everything a Jedi should be. He wasn’t devoid of emotion or attachment. He was clearly full of zeal and purpose, an idealistic man who’d gladly give his life to protect the defenseless. And he cared about the men under his command. You can see it in his face when he sees Captain Keeli’s body. If only more Jedi had been like him, maybe the Order could have a true force of good in the galaxy

It THIS what made this show so awesome. Memorable, likeable characters, even though we partially barely knew them (like here), we still cared for them.

"The Twi'leks will live to fight another day!"

Even in the darkest of times, there is still hope.

“Let’s make the end memorable!” You certainly did Ima-Gun Di, you certainly did

I love how there are so many subtle details that speak volumes of their friendship. Master Di’s reaction to Keeli’s body on the ground, how he retreats to stand by his side and shield him when he realises he is still alive, and that brief moment of shock when Keeli is finally killed. So many impressive moments here
