How We Know That Commander Mayday Didn't Execute Order 66!

In this video we go over all the available information regarding the timeline of Clone Commander Mayday which gives us the theory that he never participated in Order 66 at all and remained a good soldier. The character of Mayday really grew fast on us, as is the case with most other troopers, and we really love the cozy moment when he and the boys are gathered around that heater. This is a short version of the lore video that was originally uploaded as a regular one.

This video was recorded with Razer Seiren X microphone, edited and created in the VideoPad video editor in Serbia 2023.

Remember guys: God is awesome all the time , may the force be with you always and we will see you in another video you REBEL SCUM!!! ;)

Mayday easily became one of my favorite clones when he gave us the “we were good soldiers, we followed orders, ” speech

I think Mayday moved there after Order 66 as I was under the impression that S1 took place over a few months and some time had pasted since season 2 started.

Well either that or they killed whatever Jedi was with them garrisoning the place

The clones were always the good guys
I like how Filoni presented order 66
The bad guy shouldn't be all clones
It's more tragic that every single person was a victim to Sidious, the clones, the jedi, and later the citizens of the empire

I like your theory about the TK armor already being stashed there before the war ended. Palpatine knew the time was drawing near and getting ready and that just makes him even more sinister. His plan, having the Jedi use the clones, have the Jedi fight in his war, then spread all of their best warriors thinly throughout the galaxy so that they can’t do anything once Palpatine shows his hand and executes order 66. If that’s the case though it would be strange because that would mean there was always a plan to phase clones out, or it at least after the Fives incident, but there’s been plot points in the bad batch about how the clones are still useful and it doesn’t make sense to decommission them, and they were literally soldiers bred in a lab to be loyal to Palpatine. Idk it’s a cool thing to think about and you are the only person I’ve seen who pointed it out so now I’m making theories.

Mayday did say he's been at that post with his squad >12mos... jen corbett said that 6mos has passed from TBB s1 ep8 & ep15. Based on the imperial advances we've seen so far in s2, it seems TBB covers the first 2-3yrs of the rise of the empire. So you might be right. Mayday & his squad were probably NOT anywhere near any Jedi when palpatine had the clones execute order66. They probably heard it & later learned of the outcome. But luckily they didn't have any Jedi around.

I always felt so bad for mayday. His story was sad, basically the empire leaving him to die on that outpost. His armor looks like mummy wrappings which I thought was a cool touch

What i find upsetting is that Mayday was a Commander, the highest rank a clone could get, he was under the command of thousands maybe 10's of thousands clone troopers. But when we meet him hes only has 2 men left with the rest dead.

So perhaps thladt battle they where in cut them down to size and where stationed at the base slowly being picked off.

Mayday was one of a few clones that showed respect to a defective, to Crosshair, he didn’t see deficiencies or differences. Just brothers helping one another to survive. So much impact that he even got Crosshair to soften up even for just that event of carrying him back to the outpost.

I appreciate Mayday being a clone who has clearly put up with the worst of it when I came to post war period, stationed on a backwater planet guarding armaments he was not entitled to that could've saved him and his men were they allowed to use them. Yet despite all the hardship he faced, all the men he lost and Crosshair's cold, bitter attitude he still was friendly to him and actually managed to get through to him emotionally.

I didn’t think about this. But it’d make sense. Mayday was in one episide and yet he had a huge impact. He ensured that no one would forget him any time soon least of all Crosshair. Seeing him mourn him and pay rezspects ti him and his brothers in s3 broke my heart.
