3:01 Quick question on this part. You say it's bad to have pxn, is this assuming that 1) the matrices are non-square and 2) the mxn and nxp had n = n? Wouldn't there still be cases where this could be okay? Like.. mxn = 3x2 and nxp = 2x3, where if they were transposed they would still be able to be multiplied, right? Or am I missing something here. EDIT -- More importantly, I guess what I'm trying to figure out is, why do we ever want/need to transpose if the requirement for being able to transpose is that we can multiply the two matrices prior to transposing? I think that's my biggest disconnect.
