Stop Vapor Lock – Fuel Line Heat Shield Install

Fix vapor lock and keep your vehicle running. We stop vapor lock and fix it by using one of our many heat shield sleeves. Protecting your gas line with a protective heat shield sleeve can prevent most vapor lock issues.

In this instance, the Rotax engine sits in an enclosed engine compartment. That means everything in this compartment heats up because there is little to no air flow. Shielding the fuel line is easy with a Velcro style heat shield sleeve.

We need some sleeves against fuel leaks from fittings or hoses in the engine bay because it’s a major source of car fires. Something that would channel out a leak and protect it from leaking onto headers in the event of emergency

can i use this on my mechanical fuel pump, basicaly am i alowed to thermo wrap my mechanical fuel pump, i wanna know cause my pump sits next to my exhaust manifold and my lower rad hose, its like quarter inch from lower rad hose
