If you want to aim really high, just combine the words: algebraic geometry is super advanced and difficult. It is probably one of the most advanced topics in all of mathematics.

Reasons... I passed algebra halfway through the year, but geometry is a whole different battle with reasons now.

I’m a huge idiot and I didn’t think Geometry was that bad back in high school. I passed with a B (could’ve gotten an A if I worked harder but whatever) It was actually ‘fun’ except when they made us do proofs pretty much saying “prove that an apple equals an apple.” And I’d be like well it’s circular, red, and has a stem sticking out of it so therefore its an apple. And we had those stupid properties of equality and congruence, triangle congruence criteria, bunch of stupid formulas, transformation’s, constructions, degree measurements, some trig functions, and what not. and those were a huge pain in the ass. They were mostly based off of logic and rarely had anything to do with complex numbers.

In my personal opinion I feel as though Algebra is more difficult than Geometry (well for me at least). Many people may disagree. I guess everyone’s brains just processes things differently. Based on my experience, it appears to me that Geometry is based off of logic and creativity while algebra is based mostly off of calculations, many numbers and other stuff. In a sense all math stems from logic. Yet Algebra and Geometry are relatively similar but still very different.

I just graduated high school and I wanna major in computer science I’m aware that there’s a lot of math don’t know if I can handle it 😬 still jumping around here and there I’m uncertain.

its funny that the ideas people have of geometry and algebra kinda swap once you do higher mathematics, polynomials and their roots and stuff become geometry and symmetries becomes algebra

Idk but I’ve just started 10th grade, and in geometry class, we LITERALLY cover the stuff we covered back in 7th grade?!!! Like that’s why I wanted honors geometry in school (I’m NOT in honors now) but they didn’t give me that class

Edit: I switched to honors now! Even though I missed lots of honors stuff, I think I can study more and catch up!
