How about using the neck pickup on the tele like you are on the strat

You play the Strat on the neck pickup and the Tele on the bridge pickup. They will sound different. Why not play the Tele on the neck pickup too?

Different pickups in different positions between the two, what gives? That's almost like the tonal equivalent of sugar versus salt for most people hahaha

I have both but at the end of the day, it’s the Telecaster. Simplicity and versatility at its most basic. Leo Fender got it right the first time ✌🏼

I bought a strat because I felt like it could do anything the tele could do and more. I wasn’t sure if this was actually true but it made sense to me looking at the construction and pickup arrangements.

For volume swells, it's the Strat. Tele's volume knob is too far away. Also, the Strat has more tonal variety and looks cooler.

Classic rock tones as heard on records. Tele

I just bought this same strat a few months ago, player series Mexican strat. I love the Seymour Duncan’s it’s a killer guitar

Hardtail strat with tele headstock, as my Fender Pawn Shop ’51 or Squier ’51. Kinda best hybrid of them both.

Neck and bridge is not comparable, try using the same position for both.. 👍
