You are a very good guitar player. And that is an understatement. Something tells me you have pros and cons for any guitar.
My only con is I suck.

Bridge pickup with saturated overdrive sounds awesome in a full band mix when you’re soloing

I put a humbucker in a pawnshop Mexican strat I bought years ago and it is my favorite guitar out of the 5 I own now. I always pick it up before anything else.

My Strat was touched by the hand of god. Came down to me from the heavens on winged Pegasus, with some Seymour Duncan SH-6 hum-buckers at the bridge. She a savage beast, and she bites.

For me it's always been the Privilege of owning a Fender Stratocaster. I started playing back in '68 and have played a ton of them. The problem was always they were pretty pricey, which left me SOL.
I finally got a Squire Strat (white body, pickguard, pickup covers and knobs and a maple fingerboard; I have always loved that look)! Clapton, Hendrix, Trower, etc. have rocked that same look.
So if you are blessed enough to own your own Strat, say Thank You Lord. For those of us who hope to say as much for ourselves, I may not ever get one but hearing one in capable hands is cool.

Yeah bridge pickup is always too thin, but that twang is unmatched

One of those riffs was "Wait Until Tomorrow"! Very tasty. Love to play that on my strat.

The switching placement is both a plus for convenience or minus for accidental changes, just depends on how you look at it. The hum can be (sort of) mitigated by much better shielding and choice of effects on your signal chain. As for the bridge sounding too thin... There isn't much of a fix. Pedals cant hide it all. HSS is the way to go anyhow.

Dude I love the rakes that you do, they sound so crisp.

I love the strat. My con is the single coil pick ups. I’m into metal so humbuckers are essential for this genre.

So true, especially the switch I have very big hands and it's frustrating when I'm recording something at home and I need to repeat everything because I touched the selector even so slightly

Con: this is a custom shop Strat which means you have to sell your kidney to own one

He rolls up his sleeves while playing. I thought I was the only one who does that 😂

Bridge pickup does a phenomenal job cutting through a mix in a full band setting. 🤙

So used to the hum in one of my strat I zone out. It’s like meditating. The other strat have stacked single coils (humbuckers really) so no worries but cool short! 🎸🤘🏾rock on good sir! Cheers 🍻

Bridge pickup sounding thin is spot on. I’m about to switch my Texas Special bridge for a Duncan SSL 4
