I have a IView PCR box that is connected to my HDTV. I don't know if it is faulty or the USB drive I am using to record TV shows is, but there are many drop outs during the playback of the shows. Would it be good to format the flash drive in NTFS to record TV shows? would it cut down on drop outs?

I connected a flash drive to my Sony Android TV. My problem is I use a streaming app called Tivimate. When I open the app and go into recordings, I see the flash drive.
