The Sugar Plum Pas de Deux is one of my favorite ballet moments. My mom is a former professional dancer and now runs a small ballet school. I gave up on ballet as a kid, but I was always around for shows so backstage feels like home and I love helping out at shows. They did The Nutcracker recently and she ended up doing Sugar Plum Fairy. Watching her in that pas de deux from the wings was such a beautiful moment, and I'll always be thankful I got to be there for it and share it with her.

I love that you love Marianela, we're so lucky to have her over here and I'm able to see her live, when she dances, it's like touching something other worldly, time seems to stop and stretch out in front of her, sometimes when she's performed Swan Lake, it's not even like there is an orchestra, but more the music is emanating from her. Love indeed!
