Sleep is a form of self discipline...never viewed it like that. Will try to focus on that more. All of this information has been valuable. Thanks!

Yea, the sleep thing. Just started tracking sleep a week ago with a Fitbit. Turns out the subscription is totally worth it for the data it provides. It's not just the number of hours but the time in REM and deep sleep and time awake. This may be a big part of why my thyroid, testosterone levels are in the toilet and cortisol is booming. Haven't been able to budge body comp. Meditation, NOT pushing myself so hard in the gym (totally counterintuitive) are beginning to bring back my energy and sleep is improving. JUST beginning to turn it around. Sleep matters, folks!!

The one thing that I am so frustrated and so incredibly confused on about macros is steak. For example, I weighed my cooked steak in grams in MFP. It was 128 grams but MFP shows it as 28 grams and that I still have 111 left to go. I am so confused on this because to me, if I put in 128 grams of steak then it should still show my protein as 128 grams. Can someone please explain this to me.
