I was recently recommended your video about drawing with a $15 budget that says “you don’t need expensive sh!t” in the thumbnail, then now the alg show me this one about an art supply haul and I’m cracking up because I ping pong between those moods myself, at random. I will thrive off Bic Crystal Stick pens and random paper scraps indefinitely then one day I just wake up and my brain is like “actually we need every color of acrylic paint pen ASAP, emergency ‼️ “

Oh my gosh I remembered when I got tattoo pens - memory unlocked. I don't have them anymore but I use to have colorful pens called that where I think the ink was a bit safer and you'll just draw the designs on.

I recently tried acryla gouache for the first time too (Turner brand) and they weren’t lying.. this stuff dries fast!!!! It’s just like normal acrylics but it mixes with water a lot better. I hope you have fun with the Holbein gouache!!

Oooooh Lordy do I feel you about those Art Creation sketchbooks with the color covers, especially the tiny, pocket sized ones. I personally have the forest green one that I'll be coming back around to as soon as I finish my Fabriano mini-sketchbook, and the yellow one is definitely in my wish list. Just, the moment I saw that nice yellow one, I just knew I had to get it some day, just to fill it up with nothing but bees and flowers, every single page, and the feeling hasn't let up, I'm afraid 😅
