This people are immature in business. The average you make is $11. I use to drive for Lyft myself. No one can fool me. People vomit, sh**t in your car, you can even risk of getting shot or murder, disrespected, they damaged the interior of your car. The list goes on and on. If you can't find a job anywhere and you want freedom to go to work whenever you feel like, it's for you. If you calculate the risk, you're not even gonna make $5 average. Not Worth it

I drive for lift also and when you get through breaking down the money that you make and then how much you spend a day you really not bringing home that much because gas is high so if you make roughly $150 a day minus 70 to $80 out of that for gas

56 x $16 = $896 just for minimum wage+ $250 gas + 200 car devaluation and repairs = $1346 for minimum wage. Tax not included.

Mmk what are your expenses? And what about covering your own maintenence and repairs? What's the 6 month average on maintenence for a vehicle driven 6+ hours a day..? $20 an hour BEFORE expenses.

Now subtract gas you paid for ND subtract the time you had towait for the the next fair. Every mins counts so add every min you waited. That's not paid . So what is you pay after expenses.?

Does any of these drivers understand how to fill out a profit and loss statement? Does anyone take into account the expenses about and beyond gas? How long do your tires last? What about depreciation and insurance costs? Did you get a business license or incorporate?
I recently had an Uber driver that wanted to rent a house from me. I asked him for his P&L and he had no idea what that was.
If you're thinking you want to start a business create a business and take it to a bank. If they laugh at you then don't quit your day job.

Made $340 and $380 driving for less than 4 hours, less than 120 miles last Friday and Saturday. Don't do that we'll every week but have never made under $200. Usually around $250. I'm not in a huge market and only drive Uberx in a 2011 Honda Accord. Won't drive for Lyft ever again. Their "streak bonus', " are such a scam. If you insist I driving for Lyft, use destination mode and set arrival time and place an hour out. Then edit it every hour. They changed it to where hih can't do it endlessly before though. At least then you wont be driving endless distances and can stay close to where the busy areas are.

Incorrect analysis, you should count miles and dollars, not hours. How many dollars per mile do you make? Remember, your car only has limited miles before dies, then you have to buy news car!
