If you are not averaging $30 an hour its because your acceptance rate is too high. Stop accepting the trash rides and wait for higher paying rides. I made $2, 260 in 66 hours my best week and I average $30-$40 an hr every week. Take out the trash and will go up.

Hello, I'm Lyft's driver. I'll tell you. Lyft takes 70% and gives 30% to the driver. And when the car gets stuck in traffic, it charges passengers for traffic and gets all the money, but only about 0.45 cents to the driver. And when it arrives, it takes 5 minutes, which also charges passengers a lot of money and gives drivers 0.07 cents. Lyft and Uber need a thorough investigation

im in new jersey and on uber they hide the details of the ride like; where the drop off location is and how much you will make, does lyft do that as well?

I dont take uber eats for less than $2 a mile. Ubereats sends alot of trash rides. $3 for 10 miles or whatever. I also try to avoid Walmart pick up orders. I'm not going to haul $200 of groceries up to a 3rd floor apartment for $5. It's not worth my time.
