Don’t forget to deduct your car maintenance oil change and tires wear n tear and mileage increases it will lower the value of your car and your safety on the roads. $16/hr i think it’s not worth it.

So many creeps in the comments, absolutely revolting. Learn some respect people.

Thanks for sharing your first day btw, I've been having some anxiety with mine and it helped.

Thanks for sharing giving us some psychological preparation for a job we can all do as a hustle in an emergency, we can also drive early for safer rides, hope I can decline on some folk looking shady, I think I heard we can.

I hope you are tacking your mileage. The deduction for mileage on your taxes will more than offset the price you paid for the gas.

Lyft/Uber pay new drivers more than experienced drivers.

Lyft is garbage here in California. Uber makes way better $$$ because of that fare multiplier(drivers can adjust to their liking) I stopped doing lyft

Not a bad 1st day. Rideshare has a learning curve. Once you get some experience under your belt, you'll see a positive result in your earnings. One thing that you can do if you end up in the middle of nowhere again is instead of turning the app off, use Lyft's destination mode. You can set it to your desired hotspot and maybe you can get a trip or 2 on the way back.

Your going to need to block a lot of numbers being a chunky cutie pie! Good luck fellow Lyfty! Drive safely. 👍🙂

You’re not supposed to give your number or private information to anyone.. and I don’t see any reason that the Middle eastern guy will text you for .. you look so normal .. so focus on work
You’re not on dating app to give your number to anyone and after that start complaining.. you are a driver “server” for people

No way women should be driving ride share. They need a app for women to drive women. The vetting just isn't there.. don't care what your girlpower says bout that. It's dangerous

if you want to finish your car spend a lot of gas pick up problematic people to not have good profits do Lyft and Uber but Lyft is much worse

Great and cool video! 👍! I have 2, 152 lifetime Lyft rides and a 4.99 Lyft driver rating. Having lights do help with tips! But a Lyft passenger told me once that lights inside the car makes him go crazy! No lights on the floors in my car. I don’t want that. I will just have lights on my front and back windows besides my roof light. Stephanie, I was truly inspired by the movie Driver X for my lights! A great rideshare driver movie! Check it out. Cool kitty cat! 😎!

I’m so afraid of doing Lyft or Uber. It makes me nervous as I don’t know who is getting into my car? I need the motivation to start this. 😢

I have a lot of affluent pax and I’m sure they would find the sign in the back seat tacky . Otherwise I would use them.

I just started driving for Lyft too and I think a lot of drivers don't subtract what they pay for gas when they figure out their hourly rate. Its hard to make $20 an hour on Lyft after you subtract what you used for gas.

I just got my approval and I’m already nervous too LOL

My concern would be bad customers. Bad people wanting to go to really bad neighborhoods. Or, and, smelly dirty people.
