PS4 STUCK in SAFE MODE Loop - FIXED

If your PS4 (All models) is stuck in SAFE MODE, here's the fix.

You may need a USB stick (8GB best) and the PS4 Offline Update File, links below.

I'll talk you through the easy steps first, building up to the difficult stuff.

Worst case scenario - you need a new hard drive.

So I've tried updating through Internet said I had to connect lan cable (was previously connected through WiFi) so I did lan cable and it didn't work even though it downloaded the update. So I tried rebuilding the database. Still not working. Tried initializing ps4 (both options 6&7) still not working I've also downloaded the update and installation files (separately) those didn't work either. So what I'm guessing is a new hard drive is supposed to work?

Im desperate, i dont even know what to do, rebuild database doesnt work, option 6 and 7 gives an error and goes back to the menu, might as well buy a new hard drive

Here's a tip for anyone who's coming here for answers and still have none. This is like my 4th time of this happening to me. It seems to me if u keep it plugged in and turned off over night in a dry cool spot it'll possibly turn on the next day.

(I got an external harddrive and works like a charm again.)

At this point I'm just going to buy an Xbox series x and be dome with Sony for good, I might send my ps4 to them to fix but I have this problem in the first place because of their software.

Yeah I feel I've done everything correct I download a file that is 1.1 Gb but in safe mode it says it's supposed to be 1.204GB so it stops mid update 82% Idk what to do I'm stuck in a loop to so even after I deleted my data I'm still stuck in a loop ik ps5 btw
