Question why would you need power the usb drive? Would it get power by the onn device?
I’m just curious because I pay for 1g up and down but I get 360 with this method and roughly the same on WiFi

Now whats the difference between ethernet n hdmi hook up would the buffering be less if ran on ethernet than the hdmi cord.

i guess if you have an 8k tv or you're the picky ocd type this can be beneficial, but as it showed in the speedtest capabilities, it doesn't take much to run 4k streams. i can do it with 25 Mbps. so for those of us with a 4k tv or less why would you want to create more cables running out of the back of your tv for extra gigs you don't really need? i say worry about that when 8k becomes mainstream in about 5 or 6 yrs from now.
