Just returned from the movie theatre and this is such an awesome film! With loads of Cumberbatch epicness in it to make your skin crawl (sadly the German dub doesn't do his voice justice).
I really cannot understand all the people complaining about it - yes, it doesn't necessarily fit into the old canon but hey, it's a REBOOT. And what an awesome reboot it is. Go watch this film! :)

LOL, Philip. That's a clever post incorporating Cumberbatch's Sherlock role. What's funny is that even though I love Robert Downey Jr. as an actor & he plays Sherlock Holmes in films - I think "Star Trek: Into Darkness" was a better film than "Iron Man 3". And I think Benedict Cumberbatch played a great villain. Even better than Javier Bardem's villain in "Skyfall". And Angelina Jolie recently made the news with her medical stuff & she used to be married to Jonny Lee Miller who plays

I have actually wanted to do a creative writing course for ages. Fact is, I could probably write a series with the ideas I have. I'd have loved to have written for Quark and Odo. Their chemistry was awesome. But I wouldn't know how to put it to paper. Would prefer a couple of people to work with on it etc and truth be told, I'm not a "know everything" trekkie. I have watched all series, every episode bar the original (seen some, but never in sequence like the others).
