so many reviews from million+ subs channels and not a single one mentioned the modem, props to you! I hated how my pixel 6 had horrible reliability and service, and the second i switched to an iphone all my cellular problems disappeared. Hope google actually fixed something

The thing about having to go off of benchmarks is that phones for the most part still do phone things. Very few phones have the ability to go into desktop mode. Like The iPad. It's an extremely powerful processor, but it's stuck doing iPad things so it's basically throttled.

This phone is AMAZING and this is coming from someone who has owned the P8XL, galaxy 24 ultra and iPhone 15 pro max! You have to give this phone a couple solid days of use and you'll see why I love this phone so much, It's good!!!

Glad you mentioned things like the modem and standby drain. How are calls? But I'm heavily considering getting the base 9 this year because it looks like a bigger upgrade than most thought. So many complain about raw power but from everything I've seen the 9 series looks like the best phones Google has made yet.

You can tell Google cares about seriously improving its devices, every year they seem to listen to some parts of feedback and apply it to their next mainline device. I'm team iPhone, but for years I've wanted to give the Pixel experience a try 😄

The processor is more than enough for 98% of the population. I game on my Pixel 8 Pro and its more than enough. This phone should be even better. The software on the Pixel makes it my #1 choice for Android device as the Samsung software is kind of clunky

Hands down the best review that I’ve seen about this ! Thanks for pointing out these core improvements. Tech reviewers so often get lost in details that are completely irrelevant in normal day use. A faster and more reliable unlock however is something very noticeable and useful in day to day use.

I upgraded to the 9 Pro XL from the Pixel 6 and I'm loving the upgrade! I have the official Google case with it and I like it quite a bit.

They don't have any better trade-in deals and no good promo for pre-order. I was expecting some double storage deals since the phones are pretty expensive
