Do this and never hit a fat iron shot again because it will ruin your scorecard. Striking the golf ball well and avoiding those horrible heavy strikes is achievable for every golfer and these drill will help you do that.

Best instruction I've watched by far on how to stop fatting irons!!! Very well explained.

Omg having dinner for one in a hotel on a work trip watching this and finding myself weight shifting in my chair and letting the water out of my left ear 😂 absolutely brilliant Chris I can’t wait to try this 🥰

Wow! I've never heard the tip about the head tilts before, and I watch a ton of instructional vids. I just tried it out on my hitting net, and this tip may be a game changer for me. Everything I hit was so solid. Gonna take it on the course and see how it goes! Thanks for the awesome content!

Lovely video my fellow teacher. Today I have a lesson with a determined and disciplined student. I want the best for this lad. However I couldn’t figure out his situation. I knew it was his tilt back— the water in ear analogy will definitely help! Life saver — playing the game at a high level is easy. Teaching it to others is harder than I thought.

Really like the water from the ear tip ... a good golfer I used to play with many years ago used to tell me to feel the right thigh muscle loading as I took the club back. This creates the torque to start the downswing, but also and crucially, stops you from actually swaying backwards and shifting your weight. It's a really simple thing and is a physical reminder and every time I think of loading my right thigh, I have a better swing and strike. It also gives me that one swing thought as I start the swing and gets rid of all the other nonsense that cocks it up

Chris. Long time fan. I think your one of the best coaches on YT. I'd love to see you do a course vlog. 18 hole stroke play. Have you talk through your shots. If you come to Michigan, I'll be your camera man for a day for free lol.

You’re an incredible instructor. Amazing at explaining. And this was the tune up lesson that I needed. Thank you.

A thousand uploads all offering to fix our swing….much appreciated but nothing is constant. Best I got was a routine to loosen my shoulders and “soft hands”.

100% correct! Took me a lot of range sessions to figure this out.

Loved this instruction, Chris! Very informative and helpful. Just curious about you doing something similar to this with a 3-wood since I top and hit fat occasionally. Thanks!
