We're looking at a 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda Barracuda in Jamaica Blue Paint with a 440 engine.

We’re talking with the Owner Tom Lembeck. Tom’s had this car since 1997. Tom’s had 14 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda’s and he shares this one was the first one he purchased with a “big block” 440 engine so this is his favorite.

A friend in Germany had one of these for a while but it wasn't half as nice as the one featured here. I remember the steering wheel wasn't really on speaking terms with the front wheels, which, together with soft springs, made for wayward handling. But the soundtrack was great !

that's why I always like to power windows in a convertible so you can roll them back windows down much easier.

If I was ever lucky enough to own this car, (any 70 "Cuda) the first thing I'd do is remove those cables on the hood pins. Just like I remove the tether on a gas cap. Those cables have to mess up the paint. Their only purpose is so you don't lose the cotter pins I think...

Had a cuda with 340 six pack. really loved the hurst pistol grip manual. Color was red with white stripes and white interior. Too bad an idiot T-boned me while setting at a stop sign. great loss to me.

A great car however, with these absolutely correct and insanely priced vehicles you can't really add accessories to it without messing with the value. How nice it would be to have added air conditioning and a add on fuel injection unit so that starting it and driving it in summers would be nicer. Multi carburetors used to provide more cfm back in the day before they started making bigger carbs more common. It looks cool but getting it to run right for a long time with fiddling with it is not common at all. Manual transmissions also seem like a high performance item but by the mid sixties automatic transmissions were more modern and could outshift many drivers, not to mention that driving in traffic with an automatic is tons easier to do. I would really rather have a car, not as perfect and rare and could feel good about resto-modding and enjoying it better here in the future.
