1971 Plymouth 'Cuda 440-6 Convertible Muscle Car Of The Week Video #19

There are many "one of one" cars in the Brothers Collection, cars that may be the only on made with specific options, engine, or color. This episode features one of the more significant 1/1 cars in the Collection.. a 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda 440 6-Pack Convertible! Plymouth only made 17 440 'Cuda convertibles in '71, 12 were automatics, and this is the only one in color code Y9 Tawny Gold. This car is also unique in that it is one of only 2 wit ht the optional Shaker hood and Billboard stripes on the quarters. It is a fully documented original car certified by Mopar expert Galen Govier, and it is regarded as the highest-optioned 'Cuda convertible built. Truly a unique car!

Fabulous, monster car. None made like this for 40 years.

The 1971 'Cuda is my dream car and, in my humble opinion, is the best looking of the lot!

The Cuda and Challenger were some of the best looking cars ever made. Especially the convertibles.

Just the type of color I would've ordered. Doesn't draw too much unwanted attention from the cops. Awesome ride. 1971 was the last hurrah for Mopar building high compression muscle cars. It was all downhill after that until pretty recently

Kevin, you sure get some classy muscle car variants to show us.

Plymouth called their three, two barrel carb setup the Six Barrel. Six Pack (or Six Pak) was the Dodge term.

I had a Tawney gold 71 Dodge Demon 340 back in 72 and that color really sucked in the daylight but came off as a weird green under lights at night.
Looks good on the cuda with the billboard to cover some of that brown up.Awesome cuda.

I like the gills drop top shaker what else could you ask for. American muscle. They use to be obtainable by normal ppl. Now ppl with deep pockets buy these cars.

Very cool car and as usual an excellent video! One option I've never understood is the luggage rack. Tons of them were installed on C-3 Corvettes. Has anyone ever seen one with suitcases strapped to it? I haven't! I think it detracts from the otherwise fantastic looks of this car. A Go Wing would look great!

The 4 headlights helped at night you could see even in the ditches. Iprevious owner dropped a cam it almost put it in the ditch twice i steered out of it. I think it was close to 400 hp.
